Asian female and non-binary music producers across the globe unite for charity on ambient ‘Grounded’ compilation released via SYS Sister Sounds Label.

The ambient/experimental compilation features music producers Maggie Tra, Cloudy Ku, Leviathe, Runa Mont, Jo Ngo, Chaulichi, Arin and Wytchings.

The compilation houses production from eight Asian and Asian Diaspora music producers hailing from Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia and United States.

‘Grounded’ is an emotional test of love for the producers to connect with their heritage and roots. Bounding together with music, and providing healing electronic sounds as a nod to each other and also to their home-countries, a sense of feeling grounded.

“Being able to bring together 8 female and NB music producers has always been a dream of mine, this compilation is more than just a collection of songs. Its a union between producers from different Asian countries,” said founder of SSS Maggie Tra.

“I love showcasing new talent, and I hope the world hears and supports more Asian female and NB music producers after this compilation is released,” she said.

Profits from the compilation will go towards charity Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, an organisation based in Vietnam. Blue Dragon Children's Foundation is a charity that helps street kids and rescues victims from slavery and human trafficking in Vietnam.
